Din l-Art Helwa is thrilled to host an exhibition by a Dutch artist Marjolein Jaspers-Caous (known as ‘Lein’).
She will have several paintings on exhibition, all of which are for sale, with a donation from each going to Din l-Art Helwa. She is happy to share her work with the possibility to help Din l-Art Helwa’s interest in the preservation and protection of historic buildings/monuments.![]()
The exhibition promises to be a celebration of art and the beauty of creativity, captured in her style. You are invited to experience the powerful connection between creativity & courage through her creations. ![]()
About the artist![]()
Leins’ work is distinguished by her colorful palette, which she combines with a variety of textures and mediums. Each piece is an exploration of layered textures and acrylic paints to create an effect that immerses viewers in a dynamic scenery. Her creative process is intuitive, guided by the subconscious.![]()
The Journey![]()
Lein has been creative her entire life and started creating art & crafts years ago. It helped her to let go of her perfectionism in her daily work and to embrace her creativity. Painting is her passion. She finds inspiration in (wild) flowers, a flower bouquet on a table, nature, people around her and her imagination. She likes working with a variety of colors. ![]()
Although she took many courses and learned different techniques, one could say she is a self taught artist. The most important ‘lesson learned’ is to stick to her creative mind! She doesn’t strive for perfection in her creations: ’I am only an autodidact who’s lucky to have a super creative mind’. I am not inspired by reality, but rather by image’: ‘Art only begins, where imitation ends’ (Oscar Wilde).
